May 14, 2024 Implementation of Information and Communications Month in 2024
- Change Lives and Change the World with Digital -

 The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the Information and Communications Month Promotion Council* have designated the period from Wednesday, May 15, to Saturday, June 15, 2024, as an "Information and Communications Month" for the purpose of spreading and promoting information and communications. During this period, the two organizations will hold events related to information and communications throughout Japan.
 We hope that these events provide an opportunity for the public to deepen their understanding of information and communications, which plays a major role in building a prosperous and secure society.

 * The Information and Communications Month Promotion Council is an organization established as part of the reform of information and communications systems in April 1985 with the aim of proliferating and promoting information and communications. It is composed of various private-sector organizations engaged in this field.

 Approximately 200 events will be held all over the country during the aforementioned month.
