Radio Utilization Environment Committee Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Radio Utilization Environment Committee
- Technical Requirements for Electric Field-Coupled Wireless Power Transmission Systems Using the 6.7 MHz Frequency Band -

 The Radio Utilization Environment Committee, chaired by HIRATA Terumasa, Professor and Director of the Center of Biomedical Physics and Information Technology, Nagoya Institute of Technology, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council solicited opinions on its draft report from Friday, April 12 to Thursday, May 16, 2024. As a result, nine opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Committee's position on them will be made available.

1. Subject of solicitation for opinions

 Draft report by the Radio Utilization Environment Committee under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council
 The draft report covers the "Technical requirements for electric field-coupled wireless power transmission systems using the 6.7 MHz frequency band." This is part of the "Technical requirements for wireless power transmission systems" found in Telecommunications Technology Council Consultation No. 3 titled "Various Standards of the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR)."

2. Future plans

 Based on the results of the opinions solicited, the draft report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee, chaired by OIE Yuji, Professor Emeritus of Kyushu Institute of Technology, under the Information and Communications Council. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 6 June, 2024.
