Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Land Radiocommunication Subcommittee
- "Technical Requirements for 800 MHz Band Broadband Low-power Wireless Communications Systems" as Part of "Technical Requirements for Upgrading Low-power Wireless Communications Systems", and "Technical Requirements for 3D Positioning Systems" as Part of "Technical Requirements for the Upgrading, etc. of Commercial Land Radiocommunications Systems" -

　The Land Radiocommunication committee, chaired by MITSUGI Jin, professor at the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, compiled its draft report on the "Technical Requirements for 800 MHz Band Broadband Low-power Wireless Communications Systems", which are part of the "Technical Requirements for Upgrading Low-power Wireless Communications Systems" (Consultation No. 2009, dated September 30, 2002), and on the "Technical Requirements for 3D Positioning Systems," which are part of the "Technical Requirements for the Upgrading, etc. of Commercial Land Radiocommunications Systems" (Consultation No. 2033, dated May 27, 2013). The Committee conducted the opinion solicitation on the draft report from Saturday, August 23, 2025, to Monday, September 22, 2025.
　As a result, 33 opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Committee's views on them will be made available.

Based on the results of the opinion solicitation, this draft report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee, chaired by TAKADA Junichi, executive vice president (Global Affairs) and professor, at the Institute of Science Tokyo (Graduate School of Environment and Society), under the Information and Communications Council.
