Telecommunications Business Policy Committee Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft First Report on the Telecommunications Numbering System as a Means of Preventing the Use of Telephone Numbers for Criminal Activities (hereinafter the "Draft First Report")

　The Telecommunications Business Policy Subcommittee, chaired by OKADA Yosuke, professor at the Faculty of Social Innovation at Seijo University, under the Information and Communications Council, solicited opinions on the Draft First Report (Consultation No. 1241 dated June 17, 2025). The solicitation period ran from Saturday, October 4, 2025, to Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
　As a result, 10 opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Subcommittee's position on them will be made available.
