November 7, 2025 Results of the 3rd Japan-Malaysia ICT Joint Working Committee

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the Ministry of Communications of Malaysia held the 3rd Japan-Malaysia ICT joint working committee, based on the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two ministries signed in November 2023 regarding cooperation in the field of information and communications.

4 Results

We exchanged views on the latest policy trends in the field of digital infrastructure, AI, and online safety, and agreed to continue cooperating in these areas.

Following the joint working committee, the Japan-Malaysia ICT collaboration conference was held to provide an opportunity to introduce industry initiatives from both countries. We confirmed that the public and private sectors would collaborate to deepen Japan-Malaysia cooperation.
