December 26, 2025 Announcement of Quarterly Data on the Number of Telecommunications Service Contracts and Market Share (FY2025 Q2 (End of September))

　The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has summarized the number of telecommunications service contracts and market share based on reports from telecommunications carriers in accordance with the Rules for Reporting on Telecommunications Business(Ministerial Ordinance of MPT No.46 of 1988).

　Detailed information regarding the number of contracts to each broadband service, broken down by prefecture, is available in the Information and Communications Statistics Database. Data on the number of contracts and market share at the end of each fiscal year is available in the Annual Report on Market Validation in the Telecommunications Business Field.
