Effective Use of Radio Wave Committee Results of Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Effective Use of Radio Wave Committee (hereinafter the "Draft Report")

- Effective Frequency Allocation (Method for conditional auctions) (hereinafter the "Effective Frequency Allocation"), as part of “How to Promote Effective Use of Radio Waves to Adapt to Changes in the Social Environment” (hereinafter the "Effective Radio Use Promotion") -

　The Effective Use of Radio Wave Committee, chaired by FUJII Takeo, professor of the Advanced Wireless and Communication Research Center, the University of Electro-Communications, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, compiled the Draft Report on the Effective Frequency Allocation. This subtheme forms part of the Effective Radio Use Promotion (Consultation No. 30 dated February 3, 2025). The Committee solicited opinions from Saturday, October 11, 2025, to Monday, November 10, 2025.
　As a result, 17 opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Committee's position on them will be made available.

　Draft Report by the Effective Use of Radio Wave Committee under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council

2. Future plans

　The Draft Report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee, chaired by TAKADA Junichi, Executive Vice President in charge of Global Affairs at the Institute of Science Tokyo, and a professor at the School of Environment and Society, under the Information and Communications Council.
