Land Radio Communications Committee Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Land Radio Communications Committee (hereinafter the "Draft Report")

- Technical Requirements for Upgrading the 22 GHz-Band FWA System (hereinafter the "FWA Upgrading Technical Requirements"), which form part of the Technical Requirements for Upgrading Commercial Land Mobile Radio Communications Systems (hereinafter the "Radio Communications Upgrading Technical Requirements") -

　The Land Radio Communications Committee, chaired by MITSUGI Jin, professor of the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, conducted an opinion solicitation on the FWA Upgrading Technical Requirements, which form part of the Radio Communications Upgrading Technical Requirements (Consultation No. 2033 dated May 17, 2013). The opinion solicitation period ran from Thursday, October 16, 2025, to Friday, November 14, 2025.
　As a result, six opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the MIC's view on them will be made available.

2. Future Plans

　Based on the results of the opinion solicitation, the Draft Report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee, chaired by TAKADA Junichi, Executive Vice President in charge of Global Affairs at the Institute of Science Tokyo, and a professor at the School of Environment and Society, under the Information and Communications Council.
