Results of Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Radio Utilization Environment Committee (hereinafter the "Draft Report")

- "Industrial, Scientific and Medical Equipment - Radio Frequency Disturbance Characteristics - Limit and Methods of Measurement" and "Specification for Radio Disturbance and Immunity Measuring Apparatus and Methods," as set out in "Standards from the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR)" -

 The Radio Utilization Environment Committee, chaired by HIRATA Terumasa, professor and Director of the Center of Biomedical Physics and Information Technology, Nagoya Institute of Technology, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, solicited opinions on the Draft Report from Wednesday, October 8, 2025, to Thursday, November 6, 2025. As a result, five opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Committee's position on them will be made available.

  • (1)Draft Report by the Radio Utilization Environment Committee under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council
    "Industrial, Scientific and Medical Equipment - Radio Frequency Disturbance Characteristics - Limit and Methods of Measurement" as set out in the Telecommunications Technology Council Consultation No. 3 "Standards of the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR)"
  • (2)Draft Report by the Radio Utilization Environment Committee under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council
    "Specification for Radio Disturbance and Immunity Measuring Apparatus and Methods - Measuring Apparatus; Antennas and Test Sites for Radiated Disturbance Measurements; Radiated Disturbance Measurements Limit Modelling; and Uncertainties, Statistics and - Measurement Instrumentation Uncertainty," as set out in the Telecommunications Technology Council Consultation No. 3 "Standards from the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR)"

2. Future plans

Based on the results of the opinion solicitation, the Draft Report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee, chaired by TAKADA Junichi, Executive Vice President in charge of Global Affairs at the Institute of Science Tokyo, and a professor at the School of Environment and Society, under the Information and Communications Council. The next meeting will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025.
