Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Land Radio Communications Committee (hereinafter the "Draft Report")
- Technical Requirements for the Frequency Extension of Public Broadband Mobile Communication Systems and the Introduction of Narrowband IoT Communication Systems (hereinafter the "Extension and Introduction Technical Requirements"), as part of the Technical Requirements for V-high-band Public Broadband Mobile Communication Systems and Narrowband IoT Communication Systems (hereinafter the "V-High and Narrowband Communication Systems Technical Requirements") -

The Land Radio Communications Committee (LRCC), chaired by MITSUGI Jin, professor of the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, compiled the Draft Report on the Extension and Introduction Technical Requirements, which forms part of the V-High and Narrowband Communication Systems Technical Requirements (Consultation No. 2046 dated June 6, 2024). The LRCC conducted an opinion solicitation from Thursday, October 16, 2025, to Friday, November 14, 2025.
As a result, 24 opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Committee's position on them will be made available.

2. Future plans
Based on the results of the opinion solicitation, the Draft Report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee, chaired by TAKADA Junichi, Executive Vice President in charge of Global Affairs at the Institute of Science Tokyo, and a professor at the School of Environment and Society, under the Information and Communications Council.
