April 1, 2025 Authorization of Japan Broadcasting Corporation’s Provisional Income and Expenditure Budget, Business Planning, and Financial Planning for FY2025

　The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) submitted an inquiry on Monday, March 31, 2025, to the Radio Regulatory Council (chaired by SASASE Iwao, Professor Emeritus at Keio University) concerning the authorization of Japan Broadcasting Corporation(also known as NHK, headed by President INABA Nobuo)’s Provisional Income and Expenditure Budget, Business Planning, and Financial Planning for FY2025 based on the provisions of Article 71, Paragraph 1,of the Broadcasting Act (Act No. 132 of 1950). A report was received from the Council stating its approval as inquired.
　In response to this report, the MIC approved Authorization of Japan Broadcasting Corporation’s Provisional Income and Expenditure Budget, Business Planning, and Financial Planning for FY2025 for NHK as of Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
　The following is a summary of Japan Broadcasting Corporation’s Provisional Income and Expenditure Budget, Business Planning, and Financial Planning for FY2025:

1. Period

　For one month from Tuesday, April 1, 2025, to Wednesday, April 30, 2025

2. The amount of broadcast receiving fees

　The same amount of the broadcast receiving fees as that on Monday, March 31, 2025

3. Description

　Income and Expenditure Budget, Business Planning, and Financial Planning within the extent necessary for the economic administration of the operations and the work of construction or repair of the facilities related to the continuation of construction to be implemented pursuant to the business plan for FY 2024.
