April 23, 2025 Accepting Applications for Dispatching "Regional Informatization Advisors" in FY 2025 Begins
- Regional Informatization Advisors support digital transformation (DX) of communities, including local companies, helping to create a vibrant future for these communities through the use of ICT –

　The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is pleased to announce the appointment of 242 individuals as Regional Informatization Advisors for FY 2025, and the start of the acceptance of dispatch application under the Regional Informatization Advisor Dispatch System.

1. Regional Informatization Advisor Dispatch System

　Since FY 2007, the MIC has been implementing a project providing advice on ICT utilization. As part of this project, the MIC appoints experts as Regional Informatization Advisors. They are experienced in addressing regional issues through the utilization of information and communications technology (ICT) and data. These advisors are dispatched in response to requests from local governments, etc. (For an overview, please refer to the attached PDF .)

2. Acceptance of applications for dispatch

　We will begin accepting applications for dispatch at noon on Friday, April 25, 2025. Multiple dispatch application periods will be offered during this fiscal year. Applications will be reviewed prior to approval. The currently scheduled application deadlines are listed below. We kindly encourage those in charge at local governments and other organizations to actively consider utilizing this system.
　Please note that an online information session will be held this fiscal year. We kindly ask all applicants to attend the session before submitting their application. For details, please visit the URL listed in "3. Application method."

　　1st application deadline: Wednesday, April 30, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
　　2nd application deadline: Friday, May 30, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
　　3rd application deadline: Monday, June 30, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
　　4th application deadline: Thursday, July 31, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
　　5th application deadline: Friday, August 29, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
　　6th application deadline: Tuesday, September 30, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
　　7th application deadline: Friday, October 31, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
　　8th application deadline: Friday, November 28, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
　　9th application deadline: Friday, December 19, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
