New Generation Mobile Communications Systems Committee Results of the Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report from the New Generation Mobile Communications Systems Committee
- Technical Requirements for New Generation Mobile Communications Systems Related to 5th Generation (5G) in the 26 GHz and 40GHz Bands

　Regarding the "Technical Requirements for New Generation Mobile Communications Systems" in consultation no. 2038, dated October 12, 2016, that are related to 5G in the 26 GHz and 40 GHz bands, the New Generation Mobile Communications Systems Committee, chaired by MORIKAWA Hiroyuki, professor at the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council compiled a draft report, and solicited opinions on it from Thursday, April 3, 2025, to Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
　As a result, 16 opinions were submitted.

　Draft report from the New Generation Mobile Communications Systems Committee under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council

2. Future plans

　Based on the results of the opinion solicitation, this draft report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee, chaired by TAKADA Junichi, executive vice president (Global Affairs) and professor, at the Institute of Science Tokyo (Graduate School of Environment and Society), under the Information and Communications Council.
