June 13, 2025 Results of Solicitation for Opinions on Draft Notice to Partially Amend the Notice on Characteristic Test Methods (hereinafter referred to as the "Draft Notice")

　Regarding the Draft Notice that partially amends MIC Notice No. 88 of 2004, which specifies characteristic test methods, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) solicited opinions from Saturday, March 8, 2025, to Monday, April 7, 2025. As a result, one opinion was submitted.

1. Background

　To improve the provisions regarding the method for testing specified radio equipment, the MIC decided to partially amend MIC Notice No. 88 of 2004 based on the provisions of item 1 (3) of Appendix 1 to the Rules on Technical Regulations Conformity Certification for Specified Radio Equipment (Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Ordinance No. 37 of 1981). The MIC prepared the Draft Notice and solicited opinions on it from Saturday, March 8, 2025, to Monday, April 7, 2025.
