September 26, 2025 Approval of the Resolution on the Corporate Split of NTT West Corporation

　The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), pursuant to Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (Act No. 85 of 1984), has approved today the resolution on the corporate split of NTT West Corporation, for which the company submitted an application for approval on September 12, 2025. In granting the approval, the MIC requested that NTT West comply with “measures to ensure fair competition”.

　Article 11. Resolutions by the company*1 or regional companies*2 regarding amendments to their articles of incorporation (excluding resolutions concerning to amend the articles of incorporation pertaining to changes in the trade names of the Company and the Regional Companies), as well as resolutions on merger, corporate split, and dissolve, shall not be effective unless approved by the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications.
