January 13, 2026 Publication of the Summary of the 2025 Survey Results on Radio Spectrum Usage for Mobile Phones and Nationwide Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) Services (hereinafter the "2025 Survey Results")

　The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) summarized the 2025 Survey Results, and will publish the summary in accordance with Article 26-2, Paragraph 2 of the Radio Act (Act No. 131 of 1950).

1. Summary of the survey

(1) Survey targets

　Radio stations for mobile radio communications, broadband wireless access systems (limited to nationwide BWA), and direct satellite communication systems that were established at the end of March 2025.

(2) Survey items and methods

　The survey items and methods specified in Article 5 of the Ministerial Ordinance on the Actual Radio Spectrum Usage Survey and Evaluation of the Degree of Effective Utilization of Radio Spectrum (MIC Ordinance No. 110 of 2002)
