March ★, 2026 Approval of Regional Telecommunications Services (Wireless Fixed-Line Telephony) Using Telecommunications Facilities of Other NTT East and NTT West

　Today, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications approved the applications submitted by NTT East, headed by President SHIBUTANI Naoki, and NTT West, headed by President KITAMURA Ryota, for regional telecommunications facilities of other telecommunications carriers.

　Under the provisions of the proviso in Article 2, Paragraph 5 of the Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (Act No. 85 of 1984), the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications has today approved the application submitted by NTT East and NTT West for the regional telecommunications services using telecommunications facilities of other telecommunications carriers.
