March 23, 2026 NTT Docomo will start distributing Japanese live-action content, including dramas, in Thailand starting March 25, 2026.

 TrueVisions Now, a major video streaming platform in Thailand, will be distributing a collection of Japanese live-action content, including dramas, under the name "Lemino Japanese Collection." The distribution will start from March 25, 2026, Wednesday, at 12:00 PM (Japan time).
 This initiative is being implemented by NTT DOCOMO, Inc. (which operates the streaming platform "Lemino" in Japan) as a project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

1. Overview

 The content industry is a core industry in Japan, and the Government is making utmost efforts to expand the overseas market size of Japanese-made content. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications is working to strengthen the production capabilities of broadcast and distribution content and promote its overseas expansion.

 In this project, NTT DOCOMO, Inc., the contractor, will be responsible for coordination between the owners of live-action content including broadcasters and Thai operators, and will sequentially distribute approximately 1,470 episodes from a total of 76 companies, including NHK, private broadcasters, and program production companies, as the "Lemino Japanese Collection" on TrueVisions Now, a major video distribution platform in Thailand (*1).

 In this research project, through provision of viewing data, content providers will be supported in their content production and overseas expansion based on this data.

  • *2: A total of 76 companies and approximately 1470 episodes are scheduled to be distributed, including 185 episodes from a total of 59 local stations and program production companies.
