May 22, 2026 Approval of the Resolution on the Merger of NTT EAST, Inc.

　The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), pursuant to Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (Act No. 85 of 1984) has approved today the resolution on the merger of NTT EAST, Inc., for which the company submitted an application for approval on April 24, 2026. In granting the approval, the MIC requested that NTT EAST comply with “measures to ensure fair competition.”
