May 7, 2026 Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Mr. Hayashi, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications and Ms. Margue, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Media and Connectivity of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

　On May 4, 2026, Mr. Hayashi, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications visited the Ministry of State of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. During the visit, Minister Hayashi signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in the digital field between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of State of the Grand Duchy and held a bilateral meeting with Ms. Margue, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Media and Connectivity of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

　The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of State of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg signed a MoC on the following items:

  • (1) Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
  • (2) Cybersecurity
  • (3) Space Communications

　During the bilateral meeting, the two sides exchanged views in the digital field based on the MoC and confirmed that they would further strengthen their cooperation.
