June 15, 2026 Publication of Summarized Results of FY 2025 Survey of Actual Radio Spectrum Utilization (Various Radio Systems: Frequency Band Above 714 MHz)

　In accordance with Article 26-2, Paragraph 1 of the Radio Act (Act No. 131 of 1950), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) summarized the FY 2025 survey results on radio wave usage by various radio systems (frequency band above 714 MHz), and has published them in accordance with Article 26-2, Paragraph 2 of the Act.

1　 Summary of the Survey

• (1) Survey target
  　Among the radio stations* specified in Article 3, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Ministerial Ordinance Concerning Survey of Actual Radio Spectrum Utilization and Assessment of the Degree of Effective Utilization of Radio Waves (Ordinance of MIC No. 110 of 2002; hereinafter referred to as the “Ministerial Ordinance”) are those that use the frequency band above 714 MHz and that have been established by the national government, local governments or private sectors as of April 1, 2025.

  *The radio stations other than the base stations for telecommunications services listed in Article 26-2, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Radio Act, excluding the public service radio stations listed in Article 3, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Ministerial Ordinance

• (2) Survey items and methods
  　The survey items specified in Article 5, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Ministerial Ordinance, and the methods specified in Article 5, Paragraphs 2 through 7 and Article 6 of the Ministerial Ordinance
