Land Radio Communications Committee Results of Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Land Radio Communications Committee

- "Technical Conditions for Frequency Expansion, etc., of 6 GHz Band Wireless LAN Systems" and "Technical Conditions for Advanced Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) of 5 GHz Band Wireless LAN Systems," which are part of "Technical Conditions for Advanced Utilization of Wireless LAN Systems," which are included in "Technical Conditions Necessary for the Advancement of Low-Power Wireless Systems" -

　The Land Radio Communications Committee, chaired by MITSUGI Jin, Professor at the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, compiled a draft report on the "Technical Conditions for Frequency Expansion, etc., of 6 GHz Band Wireless LAN Systems" and the "Technical Conditions for Advanced Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) of 5 GHz Band Wireless LAN Systems.," These conditions are part of the "Technical Conditions for Advanced Utilization of Wireless LAN Systems," which are included in the "Technical Conditions Necessary for the Advancement of Low-Power Wireless Systems" (Consultation No. 2009, dated September 30, 2002). The Committee conducted the opinion solicitation on the draft report from Wednesday, April 22, 2026, to Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
　As a result, 26 comments were submitted, and the submitted comments and the Committee's responses to them are hereby published.

２　Future Plans

Based on the results of the opinions solicited, the Draft Report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, chaired by TAKADA Jun-ichi, Executive Vice President for Global Affairs and Professor at the School of Environment and Society, Institute of Science Tokyo.
