Effective Use of Radio Waves Committee Results of Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Effective Use of Radio Waves Committee

－“How to Promote Effective Use of Radio Waves to Adapt to Changes in the Social Environment”－

　The Effective Use of Radio Waves Committee, chaired by FUJII Takeo, professor of the Advanced Wireless and Communication Research Center, the University of Electro-Communications, under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, compiled the Draft Report by the Effective Use of Radio Waves Committee on “How to Promote Effective Use of Radio Waves to Adapt to Changes in the Social Environment” (Consultation No. 30 dated February 3, 2025). The Committee solicited opinions from Wednesday, April 29, 2026, to Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
　As a result, 46 opinions were submitted. The opinions submitted along with the Committee's position on them will be made available.

　The Draft Report will be discussed at the next meeting of the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, chaired by TAKADA Jun-ichi, Executive Vice President for Global Affairs and Professor at the School of Environment and Society, Institute of Science Tokyo.
