Results of Solicitation for Opinions on the Draft Report by the Land Radio Communications Committee

-"Technical Conditions for the Advancement of 76 GHz Band Low-Power Millimeter-Wave Radars" from “Technical Conditions Necessary for the Advancement of Low-Power Wireless Systems"-

 Land Radio Communications Committee under the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council (Chair: MITSUGI Jin, Professor, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University) solicited opinions from Friday, April 24, 2026, to Thursday, May 28, 2026, on a draft report concerning technical conditions for the revision of the maximum power limit, etc., to enable a wider field of view for 76 GHz band millimeter-wave radars used in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving.
 As a result, 10 comments were submitted, and the submitted comments and the Committee's responses to them are hereby published.

2 Future Plans

 Based on the results of the opinion solicitation, the report will be discussed at the meeting of the ICT Subcommittee of the Information and Communications Council, chaired by TAKADA Jun-ichi, Executive Vice President for Global Affairs and Professor at the School of Environment and Society, Institute of Science Tokyo.
