June 30, 2026 Approval of the Resolution on the Corporate Split of NTT WEST, Inc.

 The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), pursuant to Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (Act No. 85 of 1984), has approved today the resolution on the corporate split through which NTT WEST, Inc. will succeed to part of the business operations of its wholly owned subsidiaries, for which the company submitted an application for approval on June 17, 2026. In granting the approval, the MIC requested that NTT WEST comply with “measures to ensure fair competition.”
