September 7, 2026 Results of Acceptance of License Applications for Broadcasting Stations for BS Broadcasting in 2026

　The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) accepted license applications for broadcasting stations for BS broadcasting from Friday, July 3, 2026, to Monday, August 31, 2026. As a result, MIC received applications from two applicants.

2　 Future Plans

　After reviewing the applications received, MIC will consult with the Radio Regulatory Council (chaired by SASASE Iwao, Professor Emeritus at Keio University) when granting preliminary licenses to the broadcasting stations.
