June 16, 2023 Results of Solicitation for Opinions on Draft Cabinet Order to Partially Revise the Cabinet Order to Determine the Amount of Travel Expenses, etc., under the Radio Act

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) solicited opinions from April 20 through May 24, 2023, regarding a draft Cabinet Order of Fixing the Amounts of Travel and Other Expenses under the Radio Act. However, no opinions were submitted.

1. Background

In view of recent changes in the economic situation, it is necessary to raise the maximum amount of the daily allowance received by witnesses requested to appear for a hearing before the Radio Regulatory Council. Therefore, this draft was prepared to partially revise the Cabinet Order of Fixing the Amounts of Travels and Other Expenses under the Radio Act.

2. Results of solicitation for opinions

No opinions were submitted in response to the solicitation from April 20 through May 24, 2023 for opinions on this draft Cabinet Order.

3. Enforcement of Cabinet Order

Based on the above draft, the Cabinet Order for Partial Revision of the Cabinet Order of Fixing the Amounts of Travels and Other Expenses under the Radio Act was promulgated today. It shall come into effect on July 1, 2023.
