January 30, 2024 Holding Study Group on the Improvement of the Usage Environment for ICT Services

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold a Study Group on the Improvement of the Usage Environment for ICT Services to address a wide range of issues surrounding the use of ICT services and to improve the usage environment.

1. Purpose

This study group will examine a wide range of issues surrounding the use of ICT services in order to address them and improve the usage environment.

2. Proposed matters for immediate consideration

(1) Addressing inappropriate use of ICT services, such as special fraud schemes
(2) Further promotion of protection of user information

3. Schedule

The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, followed by subsequent meetings sequentially, and the Study Group will make a report around the end of the summer of 2024.
