May 24, 2024 The "Cybersecurity Site for the Public" Has Been Updated

To provide general users with easy-to-understand knowledge of security measures, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications offers the "Cybersecurity Site for the Public."
The MIC has updated the content to reflect recent security trends and reorganized its structure.

Background

The MIC is promoting the dissemination of security knowledge to general users to raise their awareness. In 2003, the MIC established the "Information Security Site for the Public." In 2022, the MIC rebuilt it into a new website called the "Cybersecurity Site for the Public," which has been operated since then.
Cyberattack techniques are becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated every day. In response to these changes to the environment surrounding us, we have decided to review the content of the "Cybersecurity Site for the Public". To protect ourselves from cyberattacks and prevent unintentional damage to others, we should integrate security measures into our daily routines. The new site introduces these measures in an easy-to-understand manner.
