June 19, 2025 Results of the Secondary Public Solicitation for Social Demonstrations for the Creation and Horizontal Deployment of Advanced Problem-Solving Models Using Wireless Technology
- Utilizing AI, robots, etc. to Support Infrastructure Maintenance and Productivity Improvement, etc. in Agriculture and Fisheries -

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has conducted the secondary public solicitation regarding practical application support for advanced solutions (advanced wireless system utilization type) that will be implemented as part of the "Package Project for Promotion of DX in Local Communities," which comprehensively supports efforts to solve regional issues using digital technology. The MIC has selected 10 proposals to be announced.

1. Project overview

As the population declines, birth rates drop, the population ages, and the economic structure changes, it is important to solve local community issues through labor-saving, regional revitalization, etc. by implementing digital technology (Local Community DX) in order to create sustainable local communities and realize Regional Revitalization 2.0.
For this purpose, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will implement the "Local Community DX Promotion Package Project" that aims to create good examples of digital implementation and to put them to practical use nationwide as soon as possible through comprehensive measures, such as assistance for securing digital talent/systems, demonstration of advanced solutions including AI and automated driving, demonstration of advanced wireless systems, and assistance for local telecommunications infrastructure development.
Regarding the proposals submitted in response to the secondary public solicitation for practical application support for advanced solutions (advanced wireless system utilization type), that will be implemented as part of this project, we have selected several proposals based on the evaluation of external experts.
