February 26, 2026 Results of the Public Solicitation for Executive Management Organizations (Directly Subsidized Entities) for the Project to Promote Broadcast Content Production Utilizing Advanced Equipment

 We are pleased to announce the selection of the executive management organization (directly subsidized entity) for the Project to Promote Broadcast Content Production Utilizing Advanced Equipment.

1. Overview

 With the aim of promoting the overseas distribution of Japanese broadcast content, the Project partially subsidizes domestic broadcasters and program production companies to acquire or use advanced facilities or broadcasting equipment, such as 4K, VFX, 3DCG, and AI technology (hereinafter referred to as "advanced facilities") and to produce content using these facilities. These advanced facilities are used to produce live-action content intended for overseas broadcasting and distribution.
 The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) solicited executive management organizations (directly subsidized entities) to administer the delivery of subsidies (indirect subsidies) to private operators (indirectly subsidized entities). The public solicitation was conducted from Wednesday, January 28, 2026, to Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

(Note) This project is contingent upon the approval of the Minister of Finance regarding the carry-over of the FY2025 supplementary budget.
 Please note that the content of the Project may be subject to change in the future.

2. Results of public solicitation

 Based on the results of the review conducted in accordance with the evaluation criteria outlined in the guidelines for public solicitation, the following business operator has been selected:

  • • Selected business operator: Dentsu Inc.

3. Future plans

  • • March 2026: Decide to grant a subsidy to the executive management organization (directly subsidized entity)
  • • Around March 2026: Start of public solicitation for indirectly subsidized entities (until around April 2026)
  • • Around May 2026: Selection of indirectly subsidized entities
  • • Around June 2026: Start of the indirectly subsidized projects
  • • End of January 2027: Completion of the indirectly subsidized projects
