June 10, 2022 Establishment of One-stop Contact Point for Seeking Consultation on Both Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Labor Management Issues Concerning Telework

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has implemented consultation activities in which experts having knowledge and know-how on telework (telework managers) provide advice and information free of charge to enterprises and other organizations that are considering introduction of telework.
In FY2022, as part of its "telework one-stop support activity," MIC established, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, a one-stop contact point in the Telework Consultation Center , where users can seek consultation on both "information and communications technology (ICT)" and "labor management" issues concerning telework, in order to provide one-stop comprehensive support to enterprises, etc. that are considering introduction of telework.
This contact point will respond to needs for advice and a consulting service on issues concerning telework, ranging from "utilization of ICT" to "labor management," and will support the introduction and firm establishment of "high-quality telework."

Advice will be provided via telephone or e-mail regarding issues concerning ICT and labor management at the time of introduction or implementation of telework.

2. Provisions of a consulting service

Telework managers having expert knowledge will provide a consulting service in which they provide specific support for introduction of telework, in response to requests by enterprises, etc.
